ïîäïèñàòüñÿThe Global Talents web-portal started a special project called Kultprosvet organised by the MKIK. Under this project, Natalia Vostrikova, a famous art critic, will conduct a series of webinars on the topic ‘World Art in Seven Chapters’. Our college students can participate in the online meetings.
The history of art is one of the most interesting and profound topics. At first glance, it is impossible to describe it in a concise and understandable way. However, Natalia Vostrikova, Assistant Professor of MKIK, proved the opposite on several past webinars
She reminded the listeners that all works of art had been created ages ago by the same people as we are. That’s why exploring them is particularly interesting. Art has become a universal language that people spoke years ago and continue to speak today.
In just seven sessions, participants will be able to track the development of the artistic movements over several millennia and understand their impact on later art.
“As soon as we look through the entire history of art in seven lessons, you’ll see not some separate details but a whole canvas. You can apply new layers of knowledge on its surface. In the end you will have a real full picture in your head”, commented Natalia Vostrikova.
On the first webinar, the participants of the Global Talents web-portal became acquainted with ancient art. They found out why the first drawings had contained only images of animals and what materials people in those days had preferred to use when creating different objects. Even though art appeared many years ago, we can learn about the psychology of people through their drawings.
After each webinar, the MKIK team starts a thematic contest aimed at assimilation of information and development of creativity.
As part of their first task, the children will make a clay nameplate. The idea of the competition was not accidental. Natalia Vostrikova uses this creative task to make the study of art theory at MKIK more interesting for students of creative fields of training.
Everyone has the opportunity to gain unique knowledge of the history of art in an interesting format. For that, you only need to do one thing: register on the Global Talents website. It won’t take longer than 15 minutes and then you will have access to a series of fascinating webinars and the opportunity to ask your questions to interesting speakers.
In the near future, three other special projects will be launched on the Global Talents web-portal: ‘Projectarium’ by the communication expert Roman Kozlov, ‘ECOlogic’ by the expert on ecology Ekaterina Tetrokalashvili, and ‘Literature Workshop’ by the lecturer of Russian language and literature Marina Egorova.
MKIK students can participate in webinars on any of the proposed directions. The speakers are going to share with you some really valuable information that is meant for the school audience but can broaden the outlook of an adult as well.
Join the webinars, develop, and enjoy the new knowledge!
