The creative workshop, which was attended by talented students from different faculties, took place at the International College for Arts and Communication (MKIK) once again. Students presented their literary works and exchanged views on one another’s works.
The meeting of talented students with the experts was traditionally moderatedby Marina Egorova, the lecturer of MKIK. This year, students’ works wereestimated by:
- Evgenia Suprutskaya, Dean of the Journalism and Publishing College;
- Oksana Kurenya, Dean of the Linguistics College;
- Inga Farkhatova, PhD in Philology, Professor, School Principal;
- Anna Maslova and Sergey Seryogin,graduates of the Institute for the Humanities and Information Technologies (IGUMO);
- Aleksey Klimashin, history lecturer,who also presented his humorous stories at the meeting.
The permanent participants of the workshop spoke first. They have been working on the development of their talent for a long time. Due to that, they honed their writing skills.
Anastasia Tokmakova, a third-year student of the Journalism and Publishing College, read a mystical story with an unexpected ending. She managed to draw the attention of the audience and give them unforgettable emotions.
Sofia Belova, a second-year student of the Faculty of Advertising and PR of IGUMO, presented several fascinatingpoems on various topics, which greatly impressed the experts.
Elena Sobkova, a graduate of the Journalism and Publishing College, touched upon social topics in her poems and immersed the audience into a state of thoughtfulness, made them realise the significance of historical events, and feel their echoes nowadays.
After more experienced participants, the following freshmen of the MKIK presented their works: Anastasia Skuratova, Ekaterina Pugacheva, Vasilisa Stepanenko, Daria Bazylova, Alina Novichkova, and Valeria Rokina. They touched upon a variety of topics both in prose and in poetry: love, the morals of the modern society, the vicissitudes of ordinary people, etc.
All the presentations were amazing and the topics raised by the authors were not only interesting but also important. The meeting had an indescribable creative atmosphere inherent to the workshop.
Newcomers in poetry and writing were both criticised and praised. They also gained invaluable experience in presenting works and a supply of motivation and positive emotions that will help them move on and develop creative skills!

Alina Novichkova:
“I really liked the creative workshop. This is an awesome experience for me! People, who have been writing their works for a very long time have shown me that you need to filter criticism, never give up, and create endlessly!”
Anastasia Tokmakova:
“That was not the first time I have visited the creative workshop. Every time I leave it with a great charge of new creative energy and positive emotions. I really like the atmosphere of the creative workshop. Creative people gather here and exchange their creativity. That is energy, which helps to develop!”
