DESCRIPTION
‘Andrey Akimov’s Studio of Portrait Photography’ project was created for the Photography College students to better master the technical principles of photography under conditions of artificial lighting and natural light. Within the framework of the project, students study non-standard light circuits and the latest trends in modern studio photography.
On the example of studio portrait photography, students develop understanding of the laws of composition and improve their individual and team work when creating photo projects.
GOAL
To give students knowledge of the expressive possibilities of lighting in modern portrait photography. To develop students’ skills in creation of modern portrait photography, to develop their interest and motivation for the future profession.
INTERACTION FORMATS
Artistic photography, teamwork, collection and analysis of information, selection and editing of photo images, attendance of lectures, workshops, exhibitions, and participation in contests.
EXPECTED RESULTS
Improving the skills of working with lighting and shooting equipment and the skills of working with photo images.
Developing business communication skills, team work, and individual project work.
Forming a personal portfolio of portrait photographs.
