The MKIK Design College trains specialists in two areas of design: graphic design and interior design.
Educational methods used in the Design College including exhibitions, installations, workshops, shows, and other ways of creative communication develop students’ skills in the creation and public presentation of original works of authorship. Annual participation in the Days of Contemporary Art festival (under the educational programme) helps students acquire the skills of self-presentation, professional organisation, and communication. Studying at the College combines modern educational models and serious theoretical preparation in art and design history areas.
Under Bauhaus Open Studios programme in Dessau, the students of the Design College ofMKIK master innovative educational approaches developed by the renowned design school, present their projects in historical workshops of the Bauhaus. The Design College cooperates with European universities like School Supérieure De Design (Troyes), Prague School of Design (the Czech Republic), andUniversity of Hradec Králové (the Czech Republic).
The training programme also includes special internet-marketing course from Yandex and intensive courses of modern calligraphy and animation.

Graphic Design specialisation
The students learn the basics of advertising design, develop corporate style, and create illustrations.

Interior Design specialisation
The students develop a comprehensive interior design with regard to the interior construction. They learn to work in a team with representatives of related professions: architects, builders, and furniture manufacturers.

- design consultant.
After graduation from the Design College,students can start their professional activity or continue education under the higher education programme at the Faculty of Design in IGUMO.
