In spite of the fact that the course of the Czech language starts in February the students of the college have already got a chance to acquire the basic elements of speaking it due to the student of the graduate school in the University of Hradec Králové, Alexandra Kičerková . She came to our Institute to teach and study under the student exchange program.
Alexandra started the introductory lesson for students of the Czech-Russian College with the narrating about the geographical and cultural features of the Czech Republic. The second part of the lesson was devoted to the basis of the language itself. First, the teacher recounted the particularities of the Czech sounds and spelling. After that, she proceeded to practice.
By the end of the lesson, the students could already greet, say goodbye, make an acquaintance and ask the road in Czech. It seems to be a great result for the first lesson!
