Linguists visited Czech Republic, photographers shot in St. Petersburg, journalists worked in the Federal council, psychologists practiced relax yoga, designers organized the exhibition of contemporary art, PR specialists rebranded IGUMO and several sections of Tretyakov Gallery. All of that is the small part of what our students managed to achieve throughout this academic year. Both students and lecturers launched several large-scale projects. One of them is the Eurasian Women’s Community, international positive news website telling about women’s activity. Designers developed website layout, IT specialists coded and launched it, students of Faculty of Internet-Management promoted it in social media, journalists did interviews and wrote texts, psychologists designed tests for the users, linguists translated texts into English and photographers regularly provided the website with new photos.

Students of the Faculty of Journalism participated in roundtable discussions in the Federal Council, visited the international forum in Russian city Ufa and interviewed scientists, politicians, sportsmen, economists and philanthropy fund CEOs.

Actual Communications Agency (ACA) contributed to such great work. One can practice branding, copywriting, PR and working with Internet media, they also master creative thinking and teamwork.

ACA supervised rebranding of IGUMO, DOCA PR campaign and both designing and promotion of the Second Forum of Social Innovation of Regions website. They also created the style of web content of museum-studio of Anna Golubkina which is under the supervision of Tretyakov Gallery.

The students of the Faculty of Design mastered their skills in intensive courses. For example, art of fine writing that is based on eastern and Gothic calligraphy and Russian ligature. They also studied abstract painting, experimented with methods of work and techniques.

Future photographers developed skill of footage in the field classes. In November they visited Novolipetsk Steel where depicted the steel is quenched. They also spent three days in St. Petersburg. They mastered street and architectural footage and portraits. The other three days they spent in Uglich where they visited various workshops, excursions and seminars.

The photographers travel across the country and the linguists abroad. Three students of IGUMO studied for a month in University of Hradec Kralove in Czech Republic. They not only mastered their English, but also studied Czechian. Their groupmates learnt how to translate computer games such as Witcher 2 and Witcher 3. There also was annual Festival of Irish Culture. At the beginning the hosts told about customs and traditions of Ireland and then asked some questions about those customs.

The students-psychologists studied the nature of people. They did it regularly but always in a different way. The most interesting way is to discuss actions of series heroes in film club Analyse It. They usually went on relax yoga.

Students of different faculties united in a team ProektEvent. They arrange festivals, games and competitions.
