A new study year has begun. As always, there are many interesting things: workshops, meetings with extraordinary people, students’ events, scientific conferences, new projects and a lot of practice. 

Many talented students entered IGUMO this year. Marina Volynkina, rector of the Institute, is sure that newcomers would feel at home just in a month. She wished them to find new best friends, feel comfortable and find common ground with lecturers. 

At conclusion, Marina Volynkina wished students good luck and every success. The deans also greeted and congratulated students. 

After the ceremonial part the first year students were divided into groups, moved to different lecture halls and asked all questions they wanted to ask and got their student ID’s. 

There is also student initiation ceremony coming in October.
