Summing up the work of the institute during this year we can note with satisfaction that the goals of personality oriented professional development of the students and their professional activities training have been achieved. That was the main topic of the interuniversity theoretical and practical conference «Psychological Maintenance of the Students’ Professional Formation» that was held on November, 15 in IGUMO.
Nowadays personality oriented professional development of the student has become one of the most important aims of higher school. The paradigm of higher education itself directs all the participants of an educational process towards the disclosure of creative independence, the development of the student’s ability to be a subject of professional identification and self-realization.
The aim of scientific research and of acquiring new knowledge about the regularities of the development of the student’s personality, the ways of the overcoming the contradictions between his need for creative and personal self-realization and demands of modern job-market has gained significance.
Professor A. N. Glushko, PhD (Psychology), Honoured Doctor of the Russian Federation, Head of the institute chair of clinical psychology shared his experience of the research in psychological security of professional formation.
The scholars of the Foreign Languages Department focused the attention of the audience on the possibilities of the student’s creative independence disclosure and self-realization. The students exchange programme of IGUMO and Warsaw University was set as a clear example.
