Advertisement is an attractive world of mysteries and adventures, isn’t it? Ads quest Brandizer’s attendants proved it true.

Brandizer is a real-time quest, which helped the IGUMO students to look at branding and advertisement anew, and challenged them with some unusual professional experience.

IGUMO Actual Communications Agency Event office got Brandizer going under extreme conditions. A sophomore student, Ksenia Demenkova, said the production time was reduced to a week, they could hardly get breath after the Alias tournament, and the preparation was really a harsh process. And that’s true, the schoolchildren took part in half a score of different activities prepared by the event office student members. The coaches of participating teams were also our students.

The dean of the faculty of advertisement and PR, Roman Kozlov, says that the main goal of Brandizer was to get the schoolchildren acquainted with the job of PR managers from the point of view of the advertisement creators, not off-takers, that “the majority of school-leavers watch the advertisement form the common point of view, and partying in Brandizer has given them an opportunity to get the sense of the ads creation and brand developing, a chance to learn, which qualities are required to work in this sphere successfully.” The other gain of importance was to show the schoolchildren how interesting their studies can be. First of all they were quested with some funny tasks, and then they were challenged with the target of making up the drinking water brand and the concept of the team T-shirt of their own.

The quest ended with a surprise, - the players were gifted with a professional photo session by Daria Komarova, one of the Photography faculty’s best students.  

The event office received a lot of fine comments on the Brandmizer from the schoolchildren, who admired it, and the dean of the faculty promised to have something alike organised in IGUMO again.

Another workshop, called How To Make A Career in Ads&PR, is appointed at April.
