Computer Technology Center

The Computer Technology Center was founded on the basis of IGUMO’s Business Opportunities Development Centre in 2005. The Governing Body of the Institute and the leaders of the Information Technologies Department positioned the Center as a perfect facility to improve practical knowledge and professional skills of future IT-specialists.

The idea to establish the Center proved to be worthwhile, successful and productive and in 2008 the Computer Technology Center developed into an independent sector within IGUMOs infrastructure. Now it comprises Computer Software Division, Advanced Development Division, Cyberspace Development and Research Division.

The decision to segregate the Center as an autonomous unit made it possible to consolidate IGUMOs students efforts at their job-relating training sessions. And this, in its turn, facilitates creative professional development of future IT-specialists. The trainees of the Center master necessary skills and acquire knowledge in the field of design, installation, tuning, operation and maintenance of structured cable systems; learn how to work in corporate and wireless local networks; develop and adopt EPR- and filing systems; create websites, run and update them.
