Students of the International College for Arts and Communication (MKIK) took part in Peace Hour online event on the International Day of Peace. The Peace 50 community with its leader Marina Volynkina, the Rector of MKIK, organised the meeting.
Women of Russia, Belgium, the USA, South Africa, France, and Laos spoke at the event. Each participant implements socially significant projects and puts a lot of effort in the peace development.
Marina Volynkina, Barbara Dietrich, Joynicole Martinez, Vanda Gagiano, and Pick Keobandith encouraged those present to preserve the peace and overcome global problems through joining efforts.
Oksana Kurenya, the Dean of the Linguistics College, Irina Belogortseva, Deputy Rector for Learning and Teaching, and Nikolay Gavrilov, the graduate of the Linguistics College, also spoke at the event.
Students of different Colleges of MKIK presented the point of view of young generation. They emphasised how important it is to respect one another, fill the world with positive emotions, refuse from condemnation for acceptance, build an international dialogue, find compromises in any conflicts, love people around us, and help the planet.
Students spoke these touching words with their hearts. But the most important thing is that they sincerely felt personal responsibility for the preservation of peace.

Peace Hour unites thoughts and hearts and makes us think about peace and eternal human values: kindness, freedom, love, respect, and happiness.
