Andrey Klimov's workshop was held at the Advertising and Communication College of the International College for Arts and Communication (MKIK). The students learned everything about the hard and not always rewarding work of the creative director.

The speaker worked for the international network advertising agencies such as BBDO, Geometry Global, and Dentsu Aegis Network. As a creative director, he was responsible for the results of all creative processes and for the prestige of the agency as a whole.

Andrey Klimov told the students of the MKIK about what skills are required for the development in the profession. First of all, he mentioned the ability to promote yourself successfully.

“Presentation has been the most effective way to convey information throughout the history of mankind. Our whole life is a presentation”, says the speaker.

At the workshop, students also discussed how the tasks of an art director and a creative director differ, how to find the intersection of the interests of a designer and a business, and what a creator has to face every day.

It appeared that there are many pitfalls in the profession. But, according to Andrey Klimov, a creative director is the best profession in the world for those who consciously choose this direction.
