ïîäïèñàòüñÿA new practitioner appeared at the Photography College of MKIK. Evgenia Sterlyagova is a photographer, multimedia artist, and independent curator who will teach students shooting in different genres and interaction with customers.
The new lecturer of MKIK is the Editor-in-Chief of the GG MAGAZINE fash-web-zine (www.instagram.com/gg.magazine/), co-founder of the DisorientedOntology art group (www.instagram.com/dont_group/), and curator of the Neolocation web-project (www.instagram.com/neolocation/).
The photographer’s works are presented in the galleries of the Attention Hub! (Fotodepartament), Docdocdoc School of Contemporary Photography, and Izvestia School of Photojournalism.
Evgenia Sterlyagova is a member of the Union of Photographers and a participant of Russian and international exhibitions. Her projects have been presented in Russia, theUSA, the Czech Republic, Spain and Slovakia.
At the Photography College of MKIK, the photographer will teach two disciplines: Technique and Technology of Photography, Reportage Photography.
The lecturer plans to organise offsite classes and teach students to interact with potential customers.
In February, students of the Photography College attended the HOME SWEET HOME contemporary art exhibition at the Zverevsky Centre for Contemporary Art organised by curators Katya Finkelstein and Evgenia Sterlyagova.
The new lecturer is not only the curator of the exhibition project but also the author of the assemblages presented in the exposition using photographs and household items.
The MKIK Photography Collegeemploys practicing specialists who help students find themselves in the profession.
