A creative workshop was held at the International College for Arts and Communication (MKIK). It brought together talented students from different colleges. The participants presented photos, stories, and poems and also received feedback from experts.

Anna Maslova, project director, lecturer of MKIK, author of poetry and prose, shared her impressions of the event:

“I am glad that the college has a platform where students can present their works, receive high-quality feedback from experts, and get acquainted with other creative personalities.

The workshop teaches you to stay in public, not be afraid of criticism, and also present works in an interesting and bright way, since it is important for each author not only to impress the public but also to be remembered by it”.

This year, the jury evaluating the creativity of the students  included:

  • Dean of the Journalism and Publishing College Evgenia Suprutskaya;
  • Dean of the Linguistics College Oksana Kurenya;
  • History lecturer Aleksei Klimashin;
  • Literature and Russian language lecturer and founder of the workshop Marina Egorova;
  • Graduate of IGUMO Daria Rubanova.

The first speakers were the permanent participants of the workshop who improve their writing skills from meeting to meeting. The students showed the newcomers by personal example that presenting a work and getting criticism is not scary at all.

Students of different years of study and areas of training Amina Garifova, Evgenia Ermakova, AsmikArutyunyan, Daria Filippova, ArinaKondratieva, Alisa Krokos, Sonya Sokolova, and Ulyana Ponomarevapresented their creative works.

In the works, the students touched on interesting and very different topics: love, acceptance of their identity, traditions of China, war, and loneliness.

Most of the participants presented prose and poetry.

However, the workshop is not limited to literary formats. For example, Ulyana Ponomareva showed a series of photos with animals.

All the performances were fascinating and gave an opportunity to think and feel the emotions of the authors. The event had a creative and friendly atmosphere, which is characteristic for the workshop.

Be sure to come to the next meeting to get inspired and find like-minded people. Follow the announcements in the MKIK social networks.
