From November 2 to 29, MKIK is switching to remote education. Lectures will be held in an online format except for practical disciplines.

The two months of studying were pretty busy. They included an exhibition on modern wooden architecture, the Days of Contemporary Arts (DOCA) festival, a student initiation ceremony, Halloween, launch of the Eco Project, a creative workshop, Patrium Summer School, and participation in the Peace Hour international event. All these events let us dive into the bright and creative atmosphere of MKIK.

However, today, we have to temporarily transfer the lectures and student events into online space because of the rapid spread of COVID-19. This is the only way to keep students and teachers safe from possible infection.

MKIK has a successful experience of remote operation. The virtual environment of our educational institution is thought through carefully and lets the students receive education in the most familiar manner possible.

We don’t exclude the opportunity of visiting the college when needed.

That is why practical classes that require real life interaction of the students and lecturers will be held in MKIK. Psychological fencing, photo workshops, linguistic theatre, and art therapy classes will continue their work offline.

Weekly workshops will switch to online mode. You can see all the announcements on social media of MKIK.

Maintaining safe conditions for students and lecturers of the college, we are also relying on your personal responsibility.

Online education is not an excuse to skip classes or ignore the lecturer’s tasks.

We are also hoping that you are responsible in preventing the infection spreading. During the seasonal flu and SARS, when the immune system is weakened, it’s important to avoid massive crowds of people and minimize social contacts.

We will promptly announce all the changes and events on the MKIK website and social networks.

Don’t be sick, support your close people during these complicated times. We wish all of you and everyone in the world health.
