ïîäïèñàòüñÿThe lectures of the International College for Arts and Communication (MKIK) prefer innovative ideas rather thanformulaic and outdated teaching methods. The best of them were presented at the New Methods of Teaching in Distance Learning scientific conference.
A pass-fail exam in the form of a podcast, a web quests as a way to assess knowledge, and writing interviews with historical figures to memorize the material are only part of the formats proposed by MKIK lecturers.
Each instrument is adapted to the lifestyle and thinking of the representatives of Generation Z (zoomers). According to the famous theory, our college students can be included into that group.
The problem of concentration of attention among young people is solved by teachers with the help of non-standard formats of knowledge transfer, such as business games, quizzes, brainstorms, and cases.
The QR codes, online forms for collecting feedback, and other digital tools used in MKIK classes correspond to the zoomers’ lifestyle, which is characterized by a mixture of the virtual and real worlds.
The methods proposed at the conference will be applied in offline learning, which will allow students to be even more involved in the educational process.
