In the 20th century, artists decided to move away from static formats of information transmission and began to work on mobile works. The new visual systems were the beginning of the transformation of people’s imaginative thinking and changes in design, art, architecture, and urban development.
Moving statues, optical painting, graphics, collage, photography, video projection, and sound and light installations received wide dissemination thanks to kinetic artistsand were included in the ‘Future Lab. Kinetic Art in Russia’ exhibition.
