Description 

The MKIK Publisher project aims at development of skills of independent work in publishing and acquisition of experience of working with authors and customers.  

Students learn to create printed products from the stage of filling technical requirement stage to preparation of the files for printing out. Participants learn to work with text and illustrative material and tocommunicate with clients and partners. 

Goal  

Acquisition of experience of working with customers andpartners and designing of the publication. 

Development of working skills in desktop publishing systemsand graphic editors. 

Working with page making of specific publications and copy editing.

Interaction Formats 

Elaborating of students’ own technical task template; text editing, creating a book design, colour and font solutions; negotiation with customers/partners.  

Results 

Creating a portfolio.

Development of skills of working in graphic editors and desktop publishing systems.
