DESCRIPTION
Under the Open Studios programme, the Design College students implement their creative projects in historical workshops of the Bauhaus. The project gives an opportunity to study and apply modern educational models in design. Following an interdisciplinary approach of the Bauhaus school, the Open Studios programme helps students overcome the differences not only between the theory and practice but also between fine and applied arts. Student projects are supervised by Bauhaus professors and IGUMO lecturers.
GOAL
Studying international models of experimental aesthetic education in design, photography, and architecture.
INTERACTION FORMATS
Exhibitions, installations, workshops, and other ways of creative interdisciplinary communication.
EXPECTED RESULTS
Evaluation of students' professional projects by international experts.
Acquisition of organisation and communication skills.
