DESCRIPTION 

The Linguistic Theatre project was created by the students of the LinguisticsCollege to stage plays in English. During the 7 years of the realisation of this project, 8 plays were put on: Hamlet XXI, Gong Show, Dracula, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Angry Men, Sleeping Beauty, and A Christmas Carol. 

The students prepare the plays independently: adapt the script, prepare the costumes, develop scenography, anduse face paint. 

GOAL 

Development of professional language and speech skills, enlargement of the general worldview and culturalcompetencies. Realisation of the students’ creative potential.  

INTERACTION FORMATS 

The search and selection of plays, preparation of the script, distribution of roles, staging performances in front of an audience. 

RESULTS 

Improvement of team work skills.

Enlargement of the vocabulary, improvement of diction andpronunciation.
