MKIK is actualising the Eco Project, the goal of which is to form responsible attitude of students to nature. The participants of the project urge to bring the attention of the student community to the ecological problems and popularise the idea of responsible consumption through different methods and communication channels.
The Eco Project allows the students to not only show an active ecological position but also apply professional skills. The students explore the ecology as a topic in their graduation projects, host themed photoshoots, create designer posters about caring attitude to resources, publish books about eco-friendly habits, and arrange eco activities offline and on the net.
The eco movement in MKIK sticks to the ‘start-with-yourself’ principle. The participants sort trash, gather batteries and plastic pens in the containers set in the college. MKIK plans to host swap events where the students can exchange unneeded things to decrease the consumption volume.
GOAL
Forming a responsible attitude towards the natural resources.
METHODS
Arrangement of eco marathons, participation in international eco projects, themed photoshoots, gathering batteries and pens for following recycling, popularisation of responsible consumption principles in the media.
